Errant Surf School in Newquay has been set up by Fat Face team rider Chris Thomson, and the founder of 121 Surf Coach, the first ever UK based private surf school. Prior to this, over the course of four years working for a large, group orientated surf school, Chris realised that to really learn to surf properly, it is critical that people of all ages receive real personal attention and specifically tailored surf lessons from top quality, committed surf coaches.
The surf school in Newquay now offers half day surf lessons, full day surf lessons, private surf lessons, group surf lessons, Longboard coaching weekends, Video coaching and week long surf courses. All our surf lessons are tailored to everyone.
Following the success of his private learn to surf operation, Chris has joined forces with some of Europe’s most qualified and experienced surf coaches to create Errant Surf Holidays, which now operates surf schools in Newquay, Spain and Morocco to name a few. Following the ethos of a private surf lesson, Errant Surf School in Newquay is dedicated to providing the highest quality, personalised surf teaching for each and every client from day one. With top of the range facilities and the latest coaching resources, Errant Surf School is the natural choice no matter what level your surfing is at.
Based in the centre of the UK surfing scene - Newquay, Cornwall - the Errant Surf School is a level three approved surf operation with the British Surfing Association, the sport’s national governing body. The school is open to people of all ages and levels and provides a fully tailored lesson for you whether you’re surfing for the very first time, seeking insightful hints and tips to take you to the next level, require some private coaching or are looking for advanced, competitive surf training.
